I've got a question....
Alright so to everyone who thinks we were wrong for going into Iraq because we should have only stayed in Afghanistan I have a question. Why was it OK for us to go into Germany when they never attacked us in the 40's but it's not ok for us to help the people of Iraq now? I'm sorry but we are helping them from a dictator who was commiting atrocious crimes. I see no difference.

We weren't wrong, even if you remove the War on Terror from the equation. Iraq was in violation of over a dozen resolutions that either ended, or were enacted after the ceasefire that ended the 1991 war.
For about 10 years we'd had the "right" based on the resolutions that ended to war, and their failure to adhere to them to go in and mop up Saddam.

Good question Maddie. People forget so quickly how they ignored the resolutions.
